Terms & Conditions of Enrollment

1. Service Provider Information

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Smart IT Learning Systems LLC ("the Institution"), a Texas-registered entity (Registration No. 803456789), and any individual or organization ("the Student" or "the Client") utilizing our educational services. Our administrative offices are situated at 823 Congress Ave, Suite 400, Austin, TX 78701, United States. By enrolling in any program or accessing our technical training modules, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.

2. Description of Educational Services

The Institution provides specialized technical training in several core tracks, including Cloud Architecture, Cybersecurity Operations, and Data Systems & AI. Our services include instructor-led lectures (both synchronous and asynchronous), access to proprietary virtual laboratory environments, technical assessment materials, and career placement assistance. The specific curriculum, duration, and deliverables for each program are detailed in the respective program syllabus provided at the time of enrollment.

3. Student Obligations & Code of Conduct

Students are expected to maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and academic integrity. This includes:

  • Technical Integrity: All laboratory work and assessments must be the original work of the student. The unauthorized use of automated code generation or external assistance during assessments is strictly prohibited.
  • Resource Stewardship: Students must utilize Institution-provided cloud credits and laboratory resources ethically and solely for educational purposes related to their curriculum.
  • Professionalism: Respectful interaction with faculty and fellow students in both physical and virtual learning environments is mandatory.
  • Pre-requisites: Students are responsible for ensuring they meet the technical prerequisites defined for their chosen track before the commencement of instruction.

4. Payment Terms & Refund Policy

Tuition fees must be paid in accordance with the schedule defined in the enrollment agreement. We offer several payment paths, including full upfront payment and monthly installment plans. In compliance with the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) standards for career schools and colleges:

  • Cancellation: A full refund will be issued if the student cancels their enrollment within 72 hours of signing the agreement.
  • Withdrawal: Pro-rated refunds are available for students who withdraw after the program has commenced, up to 75% of the program duration.
  • Certification Fees: Third-party examination fees (e.g., AWS, CompTIA) are not included in the standard tuition unless explicitly stated and are non-refundable once the voucher has been issued.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All educational materials, including but not limited to lecture recordings, laboratory configurations, curriculum modules, and proprietary code snippets, remain the exclusive intellectual property of Smart IT Learning Systems LLC. Students are granted a limited, non-transferable license to utilize these materials for personal educational purposes. Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial utilization of Institution materials without express written consent is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate dismissal and legal action.

6. Limitation of Liability

Smart IT Learning Systems LLC provides technical training to the highest industry standards; however, we do not guarantee specific employment outcomes or salary levels. The Institution is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services or resources. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the total amount of tuition paid by the student for the specific program in question.

7. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms that cannot be resolved through informal negotiation shall be subject to mandatory mediation in Austin, Texas. Should mediation fail, the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The venue for all legal proceedings shall be Travis County, Texas.
